JULY 26 - On Saturday, July 26 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Buckeye Rod Bennett is having a garage sports memorabilia sale at his home. 14796 East State Route 37, Sunbury, Ohio 43074. If you are not doing anything and want to come check out some items, please feel free to stop out.
Here are a few of the things which will be up for sale:
- Continuing to sell the Don Crow collection for his widow, Ruth. Some of the top shelf items remaining include Browns full size autographed helmets, autographed balls and miscellaneous autographed jerseys. Checks will be made out to Ruth Crow.
- Selling autographed 8 x 10's for the Central Ohio Diabetes Association for $10.00 each. Checks will be made out to Central Ohio Diabetes Association.
- Over 50 different autographed OSU and Browns minis starting as low as $15.00 each.
- Autographed 8 x 10s mounted on plaques with engraved nameplates starting as low as $15.00 each.
- Autographed Browns, Buckeyes and other sports 8 x 10s starting as low as $2.00 each.

LAST CHANCE TO ATTEND PRIVATE MEET AND GREET One more chance to meet Former Buckeyes star quarterback and College Football Hall of Fame Member REX KERN. We have held a couple of these in the past and this will probably be the last one of these events, so if you have been waiting, this is your chance. By purchasing “The Quarterbacks”, the limited edition autographed lithograph by August 31, 2008, you will be invited to a private meet and greet session with Rex in Columbus on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at noon. (The Buckeyes play that night at 8:00, so no conflict there). The lithograph is $295.00 and was limited to 250 autographed prints. It features Rex and Craig Krenzel, honors their championships and is hand signed by each quarterback. By purchasing this piece, you will be invited to the private meet and greet (which have been ravely reviewed by prior attendees) and get two of your items autographed by Rex. (Additional items may be signed for you that day at a fee.) During the session, Rex tells stories, answers questions and you get to experience a small gathering with this Buckeye legend. Wings will be provided and you take care of your drinks. It is a fun time for all and if you have been thinking about this item for yourself, as a gift or as a corporate item, please email so we can ensure your attendance. A fellow Buckeye fan has professionally framed game used pro jerseys of former Buckeye Kenny Peterson. He has a blue and white Broncos jersey and a green Packers jersey. They are very nice framed items and measure 30 x 37. For more info, contact rjpromos@aol.com.
Buckeye Rod is close to finalizing a special project to commemorate Tom Skladany's OSU's record 59 yard field goal in 1975. It will include an autographed 8 x 10 b/w photo of the kick, an autographed color 5 x 7 and an autographed OSU card. It will be limited to 159 pieces and will also include an engraved nameplate and an engraved piece "# of 159 number". It will sell for $159.00. More info to follow.
