Against the spread (6-6)

                      

2008 ended unfortunately with another loss in a BCS bowl game.  This year however, the Buckeyes looked strong against one of the best teams in the country.  With the victory over Michigan, Tressel is now 7-1 against the Wolverines which is the best star for ANY coach in the series.  A crowd of 105,564 attended Ohio State's game against Michigan, crowds of more than 100,000 have seen the last 48 games at Ohio Stadium.  Coach Tressel is .500 or better against every team in the conference, including a prefect record against three schools (Indiana (6-0), Minnesota (6-0) and Michigan State (6-0).  With the victory in Champaign over Illinois, Ohio State has now won 15 straight road games in the Big Ten, including two against Michigan.
